Joan Summer House
Joan myeon, Namyangju
This project is a private summer house located in Joan-myeon, a small riverside town located in the west shore of ‘two water area’ where Bukhangang River and Namhangang River meet. Early morning mist erupts as the sun’s first rays hit the surface of the water. The rivers carry the warmth of the midday sun. After sunset, the river meets the sky to be swallowed up into darkness. Placed before the sublimity of nature, one questions the meaning of life. Poetically Man Dwells.
